Healthcare Security Forum: A HIMSS Event
Boston, MA, Dec. 7-8, 2020
Gartner estimates that global cloud computing in healthcare will jump from $19 billion in 2018 to $45 billion in 2023. HIMSS’s own research indicates that resistance to the public cloud among healthcare providers continues to decline: Over the past 12 months, providers have doubled the share of workloads deployed to the public cloud to 25%.
As pricing and competitive pressures mount, providers have become less risk adverse to cloud computing, but still have many questions about security and implementation. The session will demonstrate how three leading healthcare organizations with cloud-first strategies have addressed these concerns and migrated to the cloud to better adapt to market forces and achieve clinical and business goals.
