Jennifer Mardosz is the chief compliance officer and senior vice president for Optum, a wholly owned subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group that serves the broad health care marketplace. Using advanced data, analytics, and technology, Optum helps improve overall health system performance by optimizing care quality, reducing costs and improving the consumer experience and care provider performance.
Jen joined UnitedHealth Group in 2012 and has been involved in privacy compliance work for the last seven years of her career. Jen was formerly senior vice president and chief privacy officer for Fox Entertainment Group, and Myspace.com during the time it was owned by Fox. Prior to joining Fox, Jen was chief privacy officer and director of compliance and investigations for Qwest Communications.
Jen is a former assistant United States attorney from the District of Colorado where her prosecutions focused mainly on internet crimes against children. She began her career at Sherman & Howard, LLC focusing on employment law. Jen received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Co. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She is based in Minnetonka, Minn.
